Oy vey! What will they come up with next?!

Sooooo….groundbreaking? Or just plain weird? Katy Perry wants her fans to have a full experience so she’s decided that she’s going to incorporate sense of smell into her next tour.

“It’s going to be great – all the dates have sold out in the UK already. I want it to be really fun and very visual.

“It’s going to engage all the senses, so we’re looking into alternative stuff like smell. We’re talking to a couple of companies at the moment about creating an aroma for the performance.”

Katy Perry adds that her wardrobe is a production in and of itself. She does wear some crazy tight clothes when she performs!

“There will be a medley of looks, and they’ll be very strong. When I get changed during a show it’s like I’m at a Formula One pit stop. There’s Velcro being ripped off and stuff getting strapped onto me.

“On my ‘Hurricane’ tour I wore a different outfit every single night. It was crazy, and not cheap.”

I’m not so sure I would enjoy a scent being blasted at my while I was at a concert. Sense of small is a very particular thing and what one person may love, another hates. Do you think you would enjoy the way Katy is going to incorporate scent into her tour?

Katy Perry admits she used to have a pretty big crush on fellow singer Justin Bieber, but now that she’s a married lady, things have changed.

“I’ve said Justin Bieber was my celebrity crush quite a few times, but I think I’m over it now. I think it’s probably safe to say I married my celebrity crush.”

Well I’m sure Russell Brand is glad to hear that- LOL.
Katy also gives tips on how to be sexy.

“The way she presents herself and the air she has about her. You can feel her power and her confidence. Also, the way she uses her ability to communicate, her brain and personality. I think that’s really sexy because you all know the hottest woman can be the biggest bitch, and that’s cool.”

That makes sense to me! If you’re shrinking and slouching trying to be “invisible,” you won’t have a sexy vibe.

Katy Perry is known for her, um, fitted costumes for her performances. That apparently won’t change now that she’s a married lady, especially if her husband, Russell Brand, has anything to say about it! (He clearly doesn’t share Katy’s management’s concerns ).

A source told the Daily Star newspaper: “Russell is very hands-on with all Katy’s dresses and loves giving his opinions. He always tells her to show off what God has given her. Russell now really gets involved with what Katy wears. He gets a buzz helping with those decisions.”

Russell himself has admitted that the couple influence each other’s style choices.

“I would like to endorse that idea. I think I’ve started to wear more colors and she’s started to go darker. She’s started to dress less like a pantomime character and is a bit more sexy – a bit grown up.”

These two really are meant for each other, aren’t they? LOL

KIIS FM’s Jingle Ball looks like it was the place to be, especially for the tweens and teens! Katy Perry attended the event (which do you prefer: the purple dress here or this gold one?), along with ‘Jersey Shore’s’ DJ Pauly D.


In addition to Katy and Pauly D, Selena Gomez, Ryan Seacrest, Joey McIntyre and AJ McLean, and ‘The Bachelorette’ couple Ali Fedotowsky and Roberto Martinez were also on the guest list. Wonder what’s up with Ali and Roberto walking the red carpet separately?

Yesterday, Katy Perry showed up for the GRAMMY Nominations Concert Live! in LA wearing a tight gold dress. She has a great body and she LOVES to show it off, but this can’t be the most flattering look she’s ever worn. And don’t you wonder if Katy can even breathe wearing something so form fitting?!? Beauty is pain, right?

I wonder if Katy was actually performing for the concert or only there as a guest. She always rocks it out on the stage so I hope if she sang, we get to see a video!

Stevie Wonder, Craig Ferguson, Bruno Mars, Cee Lo Green, B.o.B., Miranda Lambert, Haley Williams and LL Cool J also walked the red carpet for the event.

It must have been fate, because just the day before Katy Perry met Russell Brand at the MTV VMA’s that Brand happened to be hosting, she met up with Mayer the night before at Gold Bar in NYC.

E!Online reports that Mayer and Perry had been texting and flirting but hadn’t met in person until the night before the VMA’s. That night they met up at a bar and seemed to hit it off.

“John thought she was so hot and fun and was into her,”

“They were so flirty and all over each other that night at the bar, they really liked each other. Their personalities just clicked and they were flirting and dancing and it was on.”

But the next night the VMA’s happened, and Brand, who was hosting the event, made no secret of his crush on Perry. And the rest, as they say, is history! Whew, Russell Brand and Katy Perry are such a cute couple – I’m pretty sure if she had met up with John Mayer that night she wouldn’t be a married woman right now! She might have a song written about her though!

Once again, the ladies of Victoria’s Secret brought their A-game for the 2010 Fashion Show tonight (November 10) in New York City.

Adriana Lima was the lucky gal who got to wear the $2 million Bombshell Fantasy Bra, decked out in 142 carats of diamonds, topaz, and sapphires.


Also on the runway were hotties like Alessandra Ambrosio, Selita Ebanks, Rosie Huntington-Whiteley, Jessica Stam, and Lily Aldridge.

And providing the musical entertainment for the gig were Katy Perry and Akon, while hotel heiress sisters Paris and Nicky Hilton turned up for the VS festivities - which air on December 30th at 10pm on CBS.
