Demi Lovato didn’t spend Christmas at her unnamed rehabilitation center. The Disney Star – who is currently dealing with  “emotional and physical issues” – was released for the day and brought to her family’s home to spend the holiday with loved ones.

A source told People Magazine that Christmas is Demi’s favorite holiday and it was very important for her to go home for the day.

“It is the most important holiday to her,” the source says.

Demi Lovato has been in treatment since late October. The last few months have been particularly trying. Between Demi Lovato’s naked pictures, sex tape scandal and lawsuit payout to a former dancer, it’s understandable to see 2010 was a trying year.

After a bit of back-and-forth in the press between attorneys, Demi Lovato has settled with Alex Welch.
Terms of the financial arrangement were not disclosed, but the rehabbing singer will pay the back-up dancer - who she slugged in the face prior to entering a treatment facility in Illinois - a certain amount in order to avoid a lawsuit.

Said Donald Karpel, Welch's lawyer, TMZ: "The parties are satisfied and the dispute has been resolved amicably and completely."

The incident with Welch was reportedly rock bottom for Demi. She sought treatment, remains in seclusion and will hopefully return to public life a stronger, happier individual.

Demi Lovato has put one headache to rest, according to TMZ. Demi has reached a settlement with Alex Welch, the dancer she punched back in October.

Alex will receive compensation in the way of money, but the amount is being held confidential. Alex’s attorney tells TMZ:

“The parties are satisfied and the dispute has been resolved amicably and completely.”

Demi has had a rough end to her year. I hope when she gets out of her treatment facility she can put this all behind her and move on, without any further scandals popping up!

A Demi Lovato sex tape is about to hit the web and it’s going to rock the Disney star’s career. Earlier this afternoon INO reported that a naked photo of Demi Lovato hit the web, and I thought that was bad enough. It’s pretty safe to say this celebrity sex tape scandal knocks that last post right out the park.

Oh boy.

X17 is reporting that Demi Lovato used to have sex with male fans on her tour bus and that her bodyguards were well aware of her escapades. One of those encounters was filmed and the footage has been sold.  In fact, the source says that Demi is “no stranger to filming her sexual exploits.” Could that mean that more than one Demi Lovato sex tape is on its way?

I hope this is true. Demi Lovato’s got enough to deal with right now without having to deal with the release of a sex tape! Her reps insist there is NO sex tape to be leaked.

Demi’s rep tells TMZ, “Perpetrating these completely unfounded rumors from supposed sources while Demi is in treatment dealing with serious physical and emotional issues is disgusting.”

The rep goes on: “The sourcing on this report is so spotty that it is hard to fully respond. We would ask serious news outlets to strongly consider the source of this story before they regurgitate it.”

The bodyguard who supposedly stood outside Demi’s trailer while Demi filmed a sex tape inside was said to be her uncle, Francisco Lovato.

Lovato’s rep bristles, “Francisco Lovato is the brother of Demi’s estranged father. He never traveled on the tour, and certainly didn’t serve as some sort of chaperone.”

I’m guessing this is true. If there was a tape, there would be no use issuing an outright denial since the tape would prove the denial was false. But those cleavage pictures seem real…

Demi Lovato has really had a rough go of it lately. She’s supposedly in rehab for substance abuse issues. And now, on top of that, one of her backup dancers wants to sue her after an incident where Demi allegedly punched her.

The backup dancer, Alex Welch, said,

“We were on the plane with the Jonases having this awesome time and I didn’t get a call or text from Demi or a, ‘Hey, you got a problem with me,’ nothing. And she walks up and punches me and literally walked away and got in her seat.
“No one should walk up and do that and brush it over, it’s not right.”

Alex’ lawyer said,

“We have contacted the Lovato camp and we are waiting for a response. If we don’t hear back, we will pursue litigation.”

And Demi’s camp responded,

“We are in the process of engaging with Alex’s lawyer and hope to resolve this as quickly as possible.”

Sources also added that Demi wasn’t able to reach out to Alex because she was “sequestered” in rehab.

That sounds like a pretty good excuse me. What do you make of the whole situation?
