 Diane Kruger Lands New Movie Role: Marie Antoinette

Diane Kruger has landed the lead role in the Benoît Jacquot-directed “Farewell, My Queen” – a movie focusing on the life of Marie Antoinette during the final days of the French Revolution. Eva Green had originally snagged the role, but pulled out last minute.

Diane has been quietly keeping busy with overseas filming, so this move comes as no surprise.  The movie is set to begin filming this spring. Lea Seydoux and Gerard Depardieu make up the rest of the cast.

Last night, Diane Kruger attended the premiere of ‘Pieds Nus Sur Les Limaces‘ – aka ‘Lily Sometimes‘ -  at the UGC Bercy in  Paris, France. The actress wore a white Chanel dress which I LOVE and pinned her hair back with several bobby pins.

What do you think about Diane Kruger’s hairstyle? It’s certainly different and has a throwback feel to it, but does it work?


Even though Joshua Jackson isn’t part of this photo set, he attended the premiere alongside Diane. The pair were photographed heading to the airport shortly thereafter to catch a flight back to LA.
