Madonna Played Santa To Malawi Orphans

 Madonna Played Santa To Malawi Orphans

Madonna might be a pretty strict mom at home, but this Christmas she showed she definitely has a soft side! Madonna sent toys, clothes and sweets to Malawi this Christmas season to be distributed to six orphanages. Malawi is the birth country of Madonna’s adopted daughter, Mercy. UsMagazine also reports that the singer included a handwritten note in with one of the boxes that read;
“To my Malawi children on Christmas and Boxing Day. I wish I was with you. See you soon, M.”
How nice! In addition to the new clothes that Madonna sent over she also sent items that her 4 children, Lourdes, Rocco, David and Mercy have outgrown. There were other notes included that were signed by Madonna, Lourdes and Rocco that read;
“Mercy, David, Rocco, Lourdes and I send you a blessed Christmas to all of you!”
I love that Madonna is honoring the birthplace of her daughter and giving back! In addition to the items that she sent, she also threw a party for over 3500 people! It’s nice that she was able to make that many children have a Merry Christmas!

Madonna Itching To Get Back In The Studio; Angers Airline Passengers

Madonna has had a busy year with her new “Material Girl” collection with Macy’s, directing her first feature film W.E., launching her Hard Candy fitness centers, and who knows how many other projects, but she’s still feeling restless. She shared on her Facebook page:
“It’s official! I need to move. I need to sweat. I need to make new music! Music I can dance to. I’m on the look out for the maddest, sickest, most bad a** people to collaborate with. I’m just saying…”
Are you ready for some new Madonna tunes?

In other Madonna news, she apparently irritated her co-passengers on a flight to London this weekend. Madonna was aboard a Virgin Airlines flight that had to be diverted from Heathrow to Stansted because of a winter snow storm in London. Passengers aboard the airplane were not pleased when Madonna was allowed off the plane after just an hour, while they had to sit and wait for 3 hours. One passenger complained to the Daily Mail:
“After about an hour, a bus came along and took her and her party of about 15 off the plane. It seemed a little unfair. It’s not like she is the President or anything. The rest of us all had to wait for another two hours… Madonna was taken off the plane way before the rest of the first-class people. We were all grumbling about it.”
Well, if she had a bus to whisk her away, I can sort of see it, but I’d hate to have to sit on a plane for that long. Not fun!

Madonna’s New Boyfriend Doesn’t Love Her Music

 Madonna’s New Boyfriend Doesn’t Love Her Music

Anyone who dates Madonna has to be a strong guy. Anyone who dates Madonna and openly admits that he doesn’t really care for her music has got to be strong to the point of possible insanity. Her new boyfriend, dancer Brahim Zaibat, said,
“Her music sure isn’t what I would put on my iPod. But, like everybody else, I knew all her hits.
“And, since we met, I have listened to everything she has done. It turns out she has added a lot of hip hop and break-dancing influences to her latest work.”
I’m sure Madonna loves that he’s talking to the press about how he doesn’t love her songs. In fact, I’m sure she loves that he’s talking to the press, period. He also says their relationship isn’t going too fast at all,
“I wouldn’t say things went too fast. My life did not really change. I am still the same person.
“I am not the jealous kind. As long as I feel I am in control, everything goes smoothly. I cannot deal with external authority. Madonna and I are very alike when it comes to that.”
They were introduced by a mutual friend at an event.
“Norman asked me to dance for the launch of Material Girl (Madonna’s fashion label) and then backstage I was introduced to her.
“She thanked me for my performance. I didn’t feel like I met a monster. She was a woman almost like any other woman.
“I was really happy to meet her but I did not stress about it.”
A MONSTER? Who is calling her a monster? And why is Brahim talking about this? I’m getting the feeling that he won’t last long! Then again, Madonna likes to push people’s buttons, so maybe she wants someone who can push hers.
